Our History

Heathfield Hall stands as a testament to timeless elegance and rich tradition. Nestled in a serene landscape, our guesthouse offers more than just a stay; we share a story of hospitality that has welcomed many through the years. Discover the unique charm of our rooms and the warmth of our service.

Originally crafted as a schoolhouse in the 1800s, Heathfield Hall incorporates more than 100 brick, stone and wooden arches, more than 40 stained-glass windows, seven working fireplaces and two spiral staircases. Described as a “fairy tale fantasy” by the presenters of BBC’S House of The Year program. Experience an unmatched essence of romance in our suites, crafting the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable stay, and create your own, fairy-tale fantasy.

Garden Room

Tudor room

The Reflectory

““Very romantic, beautiful and elegantly decorated by the owners. It’s very close to the Game of Thrones Studio Tour (15 mins,) 25 minutes outside Belfast and just a few minutes drive to Royal Hillsborough, Northern Irish Royal residence..” The breakfast option was an outstanding option for us and the little kitchenette was fully stocked for our stay. Every single detail was covered and nothing was overlooked. We are already planning on coming back. It’s unlike anything else out there and well worth the experience.

“It was a lovely quiet spot, not a long drive from Belfast. It offered a nice selection of breakfast-y foods for you to enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea. The bed was comfortable, and the shower design was really unique!”
